It is with a heavy heart that SAEP remembers Nondumiso Mothuko - the principal of Christian Centre Educare. She passed away on the 17th of July 2020.
She was a leader, a beacon of strength and light in her community. Mrs Mothuko was a City of Cape Town PR councilor in Ward 33, a SANCO member and the Deputy Chairperson of the Philippi Educare Forum.
Her ECD centre - Christian Centre Educare was established in 2006. After years of hardwork, the centre was upgraded by Rotary Claremont in 2018/9. As a result her centre was recently registered with the Department of Social Development.
She will be greatly missed by all of us at SAEP, especially those in the ECD programme as well as everyone in her community.
